Inspired by a novel I read during the midst of lockdown; reed beds and marshes amongst water. Sometimes I start painting and never know exactly what I am going to end up with; so this was a pleasant surprise when I realised it was the location of the book I had been reading!
The peaceful landscape is enhanced with tones of duck egg grey/blue and copper accents, offering a sense of calm wherever it is placed.
