Inspired by a trip to Tighnabruaich - night time walks next to a scottish loch. I wanted to capture the atmosphere from the water and moonlight - peaceful water, reflections and movement - I love the midnight blue shades combined with subtle neutrals and autumnal browns.
The painting includes gold metallic accents which capture and reflect the light - creating additional interest. Its striking moonlight and neutral tones make it a painting which will compliment many interiors.
